Flux Finance Crypto Platform

Flux Finance is a decentralized spot and perpetual crypto trading platform built on Fantom network. The platform recently expanded their operations to zkSync and planning to open up to Aurora network. There is no clear details about the platform's founders, team members and investors. When we compare crypto exchange platforms, transparency is a good sign for crypto exchanges. The protocol is a fork of Compound V2 and the platform claims to be open-sourced but we couldn't find the relevant Github address.

Through the application of blockchain technology, Flux Finance seeks to accelerate the development of a more open and transparent financial system. By providing their stablecoins to the protocol, lenders can receive interest on their holdings. Stablecoins can be borrowed by borrowers with provided security.

The Ondo DAO is in charge of Flux Finance. The Ondo Finance team created Flux Finance, a decentralized lending system. The protocol is a fork of Compound V2 that adds features to handle tokens that are both permissioned and permissionless, such as OUSG and USDC. A per-asset basis is used to enforce permissions. Anyone can develop new markets for events they are interested in thanks to the permissionless of these markets. Flux allows for overcollateralized lending and borrowing in a peer-to-pool (p2pool) paradigm, similar to what Compound does. The decentralized infrastructure for every aspect of the insurance sector is contained in the Flux protocol, and this protocol has tremendous promise.

Flux Finance is called a peer-to-pool lending protocol. In exchange for supplying a market with assets, lenders receive interest payments from that market. The protocol then makes these assets available to the borrowers after they have put other assets up as security. The portion of an asset's worth that can be borrowed is known as the collateral ratio for that asset. Nothing can be used as collateral if the collateral ratio is 0. Depending on how much an asset is used, the borrow rate changes. As utilization rises, the borrowing rate rises as well, balancing supply and demand for a particular asset. Once utilization reaches a certain point, the borrowing rate quickly rises, encouraging borrowers to make partial debt repayments to keep lenders' liquidity levels high.

Independent overcollateralized lending is made possible by Flux Finance. To prevent losses to the protocol and its lenders, a borrower's collateral must always be worth more than the borrowed balance. On Flux Finance, liquidations ought to be fairly uncommon. Generally speaking, the supported markets, particularly those that qualify as collateral, shouldn't be overly volatile. However, in some unlikely circumstances, a borrower's equity may drop too low, necessitating the account's liquidation—the sale of some of its collateral—in order to settle the debt. The ability to purchase the collateral at a slight discount from the Oracle price motivates third-party liquidators, who are frequently bots, to take on this job.

Flux Finance which is an open-source platform, makes it possible to create marketplaces for any kind of asset, good, or event. In comparison to other ERC20-based prediction markets, Flux Finance offers some impressive features. Flux has a system that can process transactions at a rate of more than 80,000 per second, making it very scalable. With transaction fees of around $.01, it is reasonably priced. Furthermore, NEAR makes it simple to integrate with already-existing applications, and it will undoubtedly soon include a bridge that enables trustless exchanges with ERC 20 assets. On Flux, assets can function as L2 ERC20 assets or L1 NEAR assets. The performance and interoperability features of Flux are unmatched by its rivals.

Flux Finance is available on a web application. The Web App has a very simple design and doesn't require more than basic crypto knowledge to navigate. In this way, it provides ease of use and fast access. In the meantime, it has audit reports on its website.
