Yield Yak (YY) is a community driven crypto finance platform that is built on Avalanche blockchain network. The Yield Yak is an open-source platform and its smart contracts are not audited. There is no independent audit report aboout the platform. YY is still in beta stages. It is stated that the YY is supported by Avalanche network team. But there is no detail about the platform’s founders and team members.

Yield Yak offers swap, farming, and staking services for users. You can easily swap any coin or token by using Avalanche network. Yield Yak searches thruout the other decentralized swap and trade platforms to provide the best price for a coin or token.

You can easily open the Yield Yak web app online and connect with a web wallet. The web app is MetaMask and WalletConnect compatible. But you need to set up your MetaMask on Avalanche to conect the web app. Setting up MetaMask on Avalanche is explained on Avax’s support page.

Yield Yak’s main purpose is providing excellent autocompaund yield tools. There are variety of farming pools on the Dapp and anyone can lock his idle coins in a yield farming pools. The YY doesn’t have its yield farming pools but uses other major platforms’ pools to generate the best yield. AAVE, Trader JOE, Pangolin, Echinda, Platypus, and BenQi are among the platforms that YY utilize.

YAK is the native token for the Yield Yak platform. The maximum supply of YAK tokens is 10.000 and no more YAK token will be issued. %70 of the paltform’s revenue goes to YAK stakers. YAK is also the governance token on the platform.
