Trezor One has an ultra simple design and is a very easy to use cryptocurrency hardware wallet for beginners. Trezor is a product developed by community driven Satoshi Labs which is a leading crypto security expert and hardware manufacturer. Satoshi Labs is known for introducing pooled Bitcoin mining to the world. Trezor was established in 2013 with the purpose of manufacturing crypto storage devices. The company is Czech Republic based and production operations are made in Czech Republic too.

You can easily purchase crypto wallet hardware from Trezor’s website with fiat currency or Bitcoin and Litecoin. the company ships wallets in sealed bags worldwide. Device setup is very simple and can be recovered safely and easily. You will be required to create a PIN when you set up the device for the first time. You don’t need to use buttons on the device to enter the PIN. You will enter the PIN on your computer using a blind matrix system. You will click on the empty tiles on a 3-3 matrix on your computer screen to match the position of randomly shuffled digits shown on your Trezor One wallet screen.

The company offers 2 different crypto wallet products, Trezor One and Model T. Trezor One is the cheaper option with a smaller size and screen. Open source software is not dependent on the company’s support. Communities can keep developing the software. You can hodl your cryptos offline without any risk. When you first set up your Trezor One wallet, a unique seed will be generated for you. You can use seed words to recover your wallet in case of wallet is lost, stolen, or damaged.

Trezor One is one of the most sold products and has excellent reviews overall. The company has successful customer support. Trezor One is a great choice for beginners who wants very easy to use, and simple design crypto wallet hardware with high security. The device is very small in the size of a hand calculator with a monochrome display and two buttons. Trezor One supports most major crypto currencies.

You can also use the web app on our explorer. You need to connect your Trezor One to a computer with a USB type B cable.

Trezor One stands out with its fiat currency acceptance. You can directly deposit fiat currency to your wallet and purchase your first crypto. You can buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple with fiat currency and use them as a mediator to buy other crypto currencies. The parent company Satoshi Labs has great product support. They expand the list of cryptocurrencies supported by the wallet.

Trezor One doesn’t have a lot of downsides especially for its price range. Trezor One has a lack of screen and button compared to other fancier wallets but the low price compensates it. It is a great first wallet for beginners with the lowest complaints.

There is a newer version of the Trezor One available. It has been superseded by the Trezor Model T.
